What this site is, who runs it, and how it is maintained.
QLD Civil Hub is a free reference hub for civil engineering designers, drafters and engineers working in Queensland. It collects the links that practitioners look up every day — council DA trackers, planning schemes, standard drawings, GIS and flood mapping, utility as-constructed records and application forms — in one place, together with a set of quick calculators for common design checks such as slopes, grades, RLs and drawing scales.
The site is maintained by a civil designer currently working in the Queensland land development industry. It is an independent, personal project — it is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any council, utility or government agency. The operator prefers to remain anonymous; the content is intended to speak for itself.
The calculators are simple, transparent tools for quick checks — the kind of numbers you would otherwise punch into a hand calculator. They run entirely in your browser and send nothing to a server.
